Microsoft Teams Live Events enable broadcast of live video and digital content to audiences of up to 10,000 attendees. They are designed for one-to-many presentations where the host of the event is leading the interactions and audience participation is primarily to view and consume.

A Teams Live Event is a produced event requiring a team of people/roles behind the scenes to ensure a seamless online event. The roles include: Organiser, Producer, Presenters, and Attendees.
