Familiar interface
You're already using Teams to chat, collaborate and share - now use it to make calls
Your calls your way
Manage your own call configuration preferences from within the Teams interface
Resource friendly
With Teams Calling, we can avoid around $1 million dollars in hardware uplift fees
What you need to know
- Teams Calling will be rolled out incrementally to eligible* staff throughout 2025
- You’ll receive a direct notification when it’s time for your area to move
- Your current phone number will stay the same and if you change roles, you can usually keep the same number (one number for life!)
- Once you’re set up, your desk phone and Jabber will change to ‘Emergency Only’ mode and you’ll be able to dial Campus Security and Triple Zero only
- There will be no downtime during the transition.

Don't want to wait?
We're opening up expressions of interest for early adopters for a short time only so if you're eligible* and keen to get started, complete this form to be added to the waitlist.
* All Griffith staff with an existing extension are eligible for Teams Calling, with the exception of staff working within a formal call centre. Call centres will be migrated in a future phase as there are additional considerations for this service.
Staff using more advanced features such as shared lines may not be eligible for early adoption due to the complexity of these configurations.
