Coronavirus (COVID-19) information
Griffith University is taking the threat of Coronavirus (COVID-19) seriously and is concerned for all members of our University community. The University has convened a specialist team to manage our response to the virus. The group is monitoring the situation closely, following the advice of Queensland Health and the Federal Department of Health and planning for a range of scenarios should the virus impact directly on any of our campuses.
We recognise that disruptions in research activities are occurring for many researcher staff, HDR candidates and research partners. We have established a University Research Continuity Planning Committee to monitor the changing environment and provide supporting advice to our research community.
The Griffith Graduate Research School is still operating as usual and will work to address any questions or concerns that you may have. Our offices are closed so please send an email to email@example.com in the first instance and a staff member will respond to your enquiry either by phone or email.
Please see the University's coronavirus website, which is being reviewed daily, for the latest information for students and staff on any impact on University operations.
The HDR Orientation program is a compulsory, two-part workshop series consisting of a welcome and induction workshop and a responsible research workshop along with an optional networking lunch. New candidates are required to attend both workshops within six months of commencement.
