Payroll review

The University takes pay compliance seriously and is committed to accurately compensating all staff for their valuable work.

In 2022, Vice Chancellor and President Professor Carolyn Evans announced that the University would undertake a review of our payroll system and practices. Some process and procedural issues were identified that led to cases of both underpayment and overpayment for some staff members. Simultaneously, the University investigated payroll system enhancements to ensure appropriate controls are in place to monitor and rectify issues.

The University apologises unreservedly to staff members who have not been paid appropriately.
