Costs and charges

In accordance with Griffith Council, the cost to install an individual outlet (including licensing charges) will be paid from a central University account for all Griffith staff.

Approval will be required for all new outlet requests.

Approved installations must have a good business reason and be in compliance with University policy and network standards.

Projects

All approved projects will continue to be charged for switch and cabling costs.

  • Campus life projects: all campus life refurbishment, as well as capital and minor works must have switch and cable costs passed to a current Griffith project speedtype
  • EICP (Electronic Infrastructure Capital Plan) or other large University projects should pay for all network infrastructure (including switch and cable costs)
