Research and explore
Electronic library resources can be accessed online 24/7 from wherever you are.
Access digital collections and extensive online resources such as databases, ejournals, ebooks, video content and more.
Tips and tools
Access electronic resources through the library website—you may be prompted to login with your Griffith username and password.
Do you start your research on the open web on a publisher's website, PubMed, Wikipedia or Google Scholar perhaps?
These tools will connect you to our content:
LibKey Nomad
Install the LibKey Nomad browser extension to automatically link to full text articles in the library collection. If you are off-campus, LibKey Nomad will recognise your Griffith credentials for fast access to scholarly articles.
Google Scholar
When using Google Scholar, configure your settings to show Full Text@Griffith links.
Library catalogue
If you find a resource on the web that you cannot access, search for its title in the library catalogue and follow the links to full text if available.
Troubleshooting
When on campus, you are on the Griffith University network and have access to databases and publisher websites.
When off campus, you are not automatically recognised as being on the Griffith University network. We use technologies so that you should be automatically directed to the appropriate authentication method for that resource.
If you are experiencing issues, the troubleshooting tips below may help.
Browser issues
- clear your browser cookies and cache
- enable cookies, javascript and pop-up windows in your browser. Google with your browser and version for instructions.
- turn off the ‘Do not track’ option in your browser. Google for instructions.
- try another web browser—some databases recommend using a specific browser.
Connection issues
Can you access other library databases? It could be a problem with the database.
Still can’t connect?
If you are logged in with your Griffith ID (sNumber) and password and still can’t access the resource, you may need to connect to the VPN Client to gain full access or contact the IT Service Centre.
