Call for Nominations

The Head, Corporate Governance, Dr Rebecca Voisey, as Returning Officer, hereby gives notice of the intention to conduct an election to fill the following positions on Academic Committee sub-committees:

The electoral roll consists of continuing academic staff of the University within the relevant Academic Group.
AEL Group Board
  • One coursework student [undergraduate or postgraduate] of the University enrolled in a program delivered by the AEL Group, to be elected by the coursework students on the electoral roll for the Group at the time the election process is conducted
  • One HDR Candidate of the University enrolled in a HDR program directly identified with the Group, elected by the HDR Candidates on the electoral roll for the Group at the time the election process is conducted
GBS Group Board
  • One coursework student [undergraduate or postgraduate] of the University enrolled in a program delivered by the GBS Group, to be elected by the coursework students on the electoral roll for the Group at the time the election process is conducted
  • One HDR Candidate of the University enrolled in a HDR program directly identified with the Group, elected by the HDR Candidates on the electoral roll for the Group at the time the election process is conducted
HTH Group Board
  • One coursework student [undergraduate or postgraduate] of the University enrolled in a program delivered by the HTH Group, to be elected by the coursework students on the electoral roll for the Group at the time the election process is conducted
  • One HDR Candidate of the University enrolled in a HDR program directly identified with the Group, elected by the HDR Candidates on the electoral roll for the Group at the time the election process is conducted
SCG Group Board
  • One coursework student [undergraduate or postgraduate] of the University enrolled in a program delivered by the SCG Group, to be elected by the coursework students on the electoral roll for the Group at the time the election process is conducted
  • One HDR Candidate of the University enrolled in a HDR program directly identified with the Group, elected by the HDR Candidates on the electoral roll for the Group at the time the election process is conducted

Persons wishing to stand for nomination must:

  1. be listed on the electoral roll for the position; and
  2. submit a completed nomination form.

Persons nominated for a position (unless declared elected unopposed) will be elected by the persons on the electoral roll for the position.
