In particular, Council plays an important role in strategic direction setting, review of progress towards strategic targets and periodic review of the continued relevance of strategic direction. Academic Committee

Academic Committee is the senior body within the University which debates, decides and makes recommendations to the Council on academic developments, policies and procedures.

Please note: By becoming an appointed student representative on Academic Committee, you will also automatically become an appointed member of the Student Experience Sub-Committee. For more information about this additional appointment, click here.

AEL Group Board

Academic Committee has established the Group Boards to fulfill the role as the academic governance body of each academic Group with general responsibility for any academic matter related to the functioning of the Group.  Each Board will monitor the impact, engagement, and other aspects of teaching, learning and research activities to support continuous improvement.
