The Student Experience Survey (SES) provides Griffith students with the opportunity to talk about their university experience. Participation in this annual survey enables both Australian Higher Education institutions and the government to gain insights into students’ experiences, specifically:
- To monitor and improve learning and teaching in Australia
- To assist with changes and improvements that will benefit students and assist universities strategic planning.
The SES feeds into the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) which allows students to compare student experiences across Australian higher education institutions. The Social Research Centre (SRC) carry out the SES on behalf the Department of Education and Training for all participating Australian higher education institutions during August each year. Only onshore undergraduate students in their first and later years of study are invited at random to participate in this survey.
