*The two elected academic staff must represent a diversity of genders (female/woman; male/man; person who is gender diverse) with a maximum of one from each of these groups elected and the two with the most votes across more than one group elected.
One member of the professional and support staff of the University, elected by the professional and support staff of the University.
Please note: University Council members, including elected student members, have a fiduciary duty to act in the interests of the University as a whole rather than simply as a delegate or representative of a particular constituency. This obligation must be observed in priority to any duty a member may owe to those electing or appointing him or her.
