The Tell Us survey invites students to share their opinions about services across the University, which informs decision making about infrastructure and promotes a fruitful education at Griffith.
The Tell Us survey invites Griffith students to provide feedback on a range of non-academic services, namely:
- Student Administration
- Student Services
- IT Support Services
- Recreation Services
- International Services
The survey is administered online by the Surveys and Engagement team to middle-year undergraduate, postgraduate, and research (HDR) students, as well as enrolled students that were not invited to do the SES.
Students can expect to receive an email inviting their participation in the online survey in the second Trimester of each year. The winners are contacted in September each year.Prize Draw T&C's
Respondents are entered into a prize draw as a gesture of appreciation to those who complete the survey. Students could win:
- One of 5 chances to win an iPad, or $600 cash, or a $600 voucher for books or art supplies
- One of 5 chances to win an iPod, or $200 cash, or a $200 voucher for books or art supplies
- One of 150 chances to win a $15 JB HiFi gift cards
2016 Survey Results
Tell Us collects ratings (‘service markers’) on a five-point agreement scale ranging from ‘strongly disagree’ through to ‘strongly agree’.
With the exception of Food, the service markers were:
* Services available
* Information available
* Information clear
* Staff professional and helpful
* Issues handled fairly
Food Services satisfaction were measured on:
* Good range
* Prices affordable
* Outlets open
Results are collected for each service area, as well as being segmented by campus, residency, disability status, by First Nations, socioeconomic status (SES), academic career level, attendance, and gender.
