The student view of the Mark Centre is called My Marks.  This option appears by default in the left menu of every Learning@Griffith course site, and is also accessible from the front page of Learning@Griffith.

Help material provided by Blackboard refers to this tool as "My Grades".

Good to know

  • It is important to ensure that you organise your Mark Centre to ensure it is only displaying the marks that you want the students to see, as it's not possible for teaching staff to turn off or hide this tool from students.
  • Teaching staff will not see anything when clicking on My Marks.  It is possible, however, to enter Student Preview Mode and click on My Marks to see a list of the columns and marks that are visible to students.
  • There is a default Smart View titled "Preview of My Marks" however we advise caution when using this - it will show you the columns the students can see, but only where those columns are not hidden from the Instructor view in the Mark Centre.
  • If students report problems with seeing marks, refer to our information on organising the Mark Centre to help you resolve the issue.
