Learning@Griffith Help in Canvas

We have a brand-new help website for the new LMS Canvas, with access to further support from 24/7 call and chat lines.

Overview

The Assignment tool is an online assessment facility that also provides an optional text-matching service powered by SafeAssign. As an instructor, you may use the Assignment tool for:

  • Creating assignments in your Learning@Griffith course site where students can upload submissions
  • Reviewing SafeAssign originality reports for submitted papers
  • Providing marks and feedback to students

Compared to Turnitin, the Assignment tool:

  • Accepts a wider variety of file types, including video and spreadsheet files
  • Makes group assignment submissions possible
  • Uses SafeAssign for text-matching, which checks papers against a different repository
