Upcoming and current courses

Site creation and development sites

Course sites for upcoming teaching periods are created when course data is passed from the PeopleSoft system to the Learning@Griffith system. For an indication of when this occurs each trimester, see the Exams and Timetabling Timeline.

If you would like to begin developing your course before the official site has been created in Learning@Griffith, we recommend contacting your school's Learning and Teaching Consultants to discuss the possibility of using a DEV site.

If you have concerns that your course site is not available after the date listed in the timeline and you have confirmed the issue is not related to your access to the course, contact the IT Service Centre for further investigation.

Student access

The availability of a Learning@Griffith course site is determined by the teaching period the course is associated with.

Standard Griffith courses and Accelerated Online courses become accessible to students two weeks prior to Monday in Teaching Week 1 of the associated trimester or teaching period. For example, if the first teaching week starts on Monday 15 March, the course site would become accessible to students on Monday 1 March.

For OUA courses, the default access date is Monday in the first teaching week of the associated study period.

Past courses

In line with the Learning@Griffith data retention policy, 'course data will be retained at a minimum until the current offering plus three years and then may be removed'. If you wish to keep any content from past courses, you may need to download copies to your local computer during the period in which the courses remain on the system.
