All software in the standard software catalogue will be covered by a level of support between A (full) to C (Limited).

For categories A, B and C, we will manage software licensing and acquisition (eg recording, negotiating site and volume licenses etc) to ensure the best price possible is obtained and to assist in meeting copyright requirements.

The Standard software catalogue's supported software list is not an exhaustive one of all category B and C software, additional information is available from Software services.

Recommended software

We will not necessarily be in a position to provide support or advice to people using equipment that does not meet the basic specification. While we will support Linux and Mac environments, there are some limitations and differences in the way enterprise applications are deployed in these environments.

All changes to software and the levels of support for software in the list below will be subject to the Information Services change management process to ensure compatibility with existing systems and network infrastructure etc.

For a list of all software available see Software.
