Access to your IT Services is gained by using your username - this is typically your staff or student ID number preceded by a lower case 's' called your s number - and your password.

When you log in to IT Services you will be accepting the University's Code of Practice.  Before using IT Services, please ensure that you aware of and have read the Information Technology Resources Code of Practice.

When a person commences with the University their relationship is created and subsequently their access to  IT Services is activated.  When a person no longer has this relationship with the University their access to  IT Services is disabled.

For people who have multiple relationships with the University (eg a student who is also a casual staff member), who cease only one relationship, only their access to the service relating to the terminating relationship will be disabled.

With sufficient lead time, new staff members receive access prior to actually commencing employment.

At the end of your last day of employment or end of the fixed term period.

Access will continue for fixed term staff if a new appointment immediately follows the current one and the accompanying appointment information data is in the system.

Staff

Sessionals
As aboveAugust 31 for sessional staff employed during semester 1 who are not employed in semester 2.

March 31 for sessional staff employed during semester 2 who are not employed during semester 1 of the following year.
