Campus Life as a service
Campus Life supports the University’s teaching and research activities through the provision of the following services: construction, maintenance, security and traffic management, logistics, energy management, cleaning and waste services, grounds maintenance, emergency information and space management.

Our services
Facilities management
Facilities Management is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the built and physical environment of Griffith University.
Campus development
To ensure students and staff enjoy quality facilities across campus, Griffith is continually upgrading and improving existing buildings and spaces.
Emergency information
In case of emergency, it is important to be familiar with your campus emergency plans and procedures and that you understand the roles of your building warden.
Electrical safety
Electrical safety and compliance policies and procedures should be followed at all times and conducted by a professional tradesperson recommended by the University.
Parking
A limited number of on-campus parking spaces are provided for staff, students and visitors. Trimester and Annual parking permits are available for purchase in addition to casual daily parking options.
Security
Safety and security services are available 24-hours on all Griffith University campuses and are handled by the Campus Support Team.
The logistics team run a University-wide mail system ensuring easy and efficient delivery of internal and external mail. Parcel Lockers are available on select campuses.
University vehicles
We manage the University vehicles that are available to staff and postgraduate students for business-related travel and are responsible for University vehicle purchases and disposals.
Food and retail
A wide variety of food and retail outlets are available across the five campuses. Griffith Catering is available for University events and Griffith memorabilia and uniforms can be purchased online.
Sport
Students, staff and local communities have the chance to use our world-class sporting and fitness facilities and join our social teams, sports clubs and sporting events throughout the year.
Accommodation
On-campus living is available at Gold Coast, Mt Gravatt and Nathan campuses offering convenience, and community for domestic and international students.
Child care
Our childcare centres at Nathan offer quality education and care for children from three months of age to five years from 7.30 am to 6 pm (Monday to Friday).
Business Partnering
With respect to business partnering, Campus Life proactively seeks input into the university’s strategic infrastructure planning and asset planning cycles and projects. Where business areas seek Campus Life input into projects and assistance in resolving issues, Associate Directors and Facilities Managers for each service area can be contacted.
